Angora   Hamadan   Serapi

The wool used in these handknotted carpets is from the Angora Goat raised in the highlands of Mongolia. This fleece, also sometimes called mohair, is known for its luster and softness, making these sumptuous carpets suitable for an elegant and comfortable home environment. The pile is little longer than other weaves adding to the plushness of these carpets.   A low pile, open back recreation of the traditional Hamadan weave of Persia.   Made with a Turkish knot, sheared low and meticulously washed to simulate the surface texture of an antique, this weave creates a rich and textural appeal perfect for a variety of design looks.
Turkoman   Kashgar   Little-river

Also made with a Turkish knot, this exceptionally fine weave has been washed and sheared to reveal the knot tops as would be apparent in a great old antique   Handknotted pile carpets using Central Asian fine handspun wool with a velvety finish suitable for elegant contemporary designs.   The first production in the 20th century to reintroduce the use of natural dyes and hand spun wool in China, these hand knotted carpets are constructed in a similar to way to traditional Persian Tabriz carpets. With over 120 knots per square inch these decorative carpets will last for many years.
Rumal   Gibraltar   Caspian

Over twenty designs, originating in North and Equatorial Africa, Bolivia, and the Middle east. Flatwoven in China using a variety of techniques including twill, brocade, and tapestry weaves.   Stylistically these rugs have roots in the Tribal highlands of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco yet they feel remarkably modern and Western. The long piled handspun wool combined with the natural color variation or aubrush creates a sumptuously textured surface which can be best appreciated by taking your shoes off.   A pile using a slightly less dense wool face and a more pliable back than Little River weave.
