n November of 2000 M&K opened a new showroom at the Pacific Design Center. The 5000 square foot showroom, which is their first outside of New York, will show the full range of M&K's line. Charles Baker, the new showroom's manager, was named in Los Angeles Magazine's 101 Best Things in LA (June l999) as the "most unintimidating carpet salesman".

An interior designer as well, Charles received his initial rug knowledge during eight years with Steven King Rugs in the Boston Design Center. Charles is ably assisted by Francisco Ruiz whose enthusiasm and expertise for home furnishing design came from his experience working for Mimi London, JR Scott, and Old World Weavers at Stark. The MK showroom is located on the sixth floor of the Green building at the Pacific Design Center - 8687 Melrose Ave, G671, Los Angeles, CA 90069 (310) 360 8400 and is open 9-5 M-F.
